Andrew Howard

Andrew Howard

Principal

Andrew Howard, AICP is internationally respected for his people focused design approach and rapid-implementation strategies that are being replicated around the world. He is an urban planner, cofounder of Better Block and a principal at Team Better Block consulting. He has 17 years experience in transportation and land development planning and design, and was a 2015 Loeb Fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Design.

Hayrettin Günç

Hayrettin Günç

Architect/Designer

Hayrettin Günç is an architect and urbanist based in Boston and Istanbul. He holds a Master of Architecture in Urban Design with distinction from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design and is currently Better Block's resident designer and architect.

Jonathan Braddick

Jonathan Braddick

Project Manager

A local Oak Cliff advocate for better bicycle infrastructure, Jonathan was one of the original Better Block's community volunteers that helped put the design/build concept to work. He’s worked to get more bicycle infrastructure implemented on Dallas’ aging roadways, presiding as the first Dallas Bicycle Coalition president and board member of Bike Friendly Oak Cliff. He’s the business owner of Oak Cliff Cargo Bicycles and founder of the Bicycle Brewery Tour.

Layne Ferguson

Layne Ferguson

Project Planner

Layne is passionate about placemaking and people focused urban design. He has experience working for Oklahoma City's Plaza District and the City of Norman's Development department. His graduate thesis focused on the role a signature bicycle and pedestrian network in Oklahoma City could have in creating a more healthy and connected city. He holds a Master of Science in Architecture and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs and Administration from the University of Oklahoma.
